Pastor Woody & Family

Pastor Woody Posey has faithfully served in ministry for more than 33 years, dedicating his life to preaching the Gospel, teaching God’s Word, and shepherding His people. Throughout his ministry, Pastor Woody has served as pastor of three churches, bringing a heart for biblical truth, compassionate leadership, and a passion for helping people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

On February 4, 2026, Pastor Woody accepted the call to serve as Pastor of Ravia Church of God, where he continues to lead the congregation with a commitment to sharing the love of Christ and strengthening the local church.

Pastor Woody is blessed to share his life and ministry with his wife, Tammy Posey. Together they have three wonderful children: Moriah (19), Ashlynn (12), and Josiah (5). Family is one of his greatest joys, and he values building a Christ-centered home while serving the church and community.

Whether preaching from the pulpit, encouraging individuals, or serving alongside others, Pastor Woody’s desire is to faithfully proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and see lives transformed by the power of God’s Word.
